Terms for using the Thalith Records website and purchasing digital music directly from our store.
1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to use of the Thalith Records website and, where available, purchases made through the Thalith Records music store. By placing an order, you agree to the terms presented at checkout together with these terms.
2. Digital music products
Products may include individual tracks, albums or other digital audio files in the formats described on the product page. Product availability, formats and prices may change before an order is placed.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown at the store before checkout. Any applicable taxes or charges will be handled or displayed as required by the checkout process. An order is accepted when payment is successfully completed and the store confirms the order.
4. Delivery
Digital purchases are normally delivered electronically through the website, order page or a secure download link. Download links may be temporary, limited or refreshed for security. You are responsible for keeping your account and order access secure.
5. Licence for purchased music
Unless a product expressly says otherwise, buying a digital music file gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to download and listen to that copy for personal use. Ownership of copyright, master rights, composition rights, trademarks and other intellectual-property rights is not transferred to you.
6. What a normal purchase does not allow
A normal music-store purchase does not by itself permit resale, redistribution, public file sharing, uploading the file as your own release, use in advertising, film, television, games, apps, commercial video or other synchronisation. For those uses, please request a separate licence through our Licensing page.
7. Digital-content cancellation rights
Consumer cancellation and refund rights depend on applicable law. Where the law permits immediate delivery of digital content only after your express consent and acknowledgement that a cancellation right may be lost once delivery begins, that consent should be collected at checkout before immediate download access is provided.
8. Faulty or unavailable downloads
If a paid download is technically defective, unavailable or materially different from what was ordered, contact us so we can investigate and, where appropriate, restore access, provide a replacement or offer another remedy required by applicable law.
9. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, interfere with its security, attempt unauthorised access, scrape protected content, bypass download controls, distribute malicious software or use the service in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
10. Intellectual property
The Thalith Records name, website design, artwork, text, music, audio and other content may be protected by copyright, trademark or other rights. No rights are granted except those expressly stated for a purchased product or separate licence.
11. External services
The website may link to or rely on third-party services, payment methods or music platforms. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies, and their availability may change independently of Thalith Records.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or by misuse of the website or downloaded files.
13. Changes
We may update these terms as the website, music store or applicable requirements change. The version in force when you place an order will apply to that order unless the law requires otherwise.
